Nigel Wright Group are delighted to be supporting a growing Newcastle-based tech business with real momentum, in their search for a Senior Content Marketing Manager. This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for a seasoned content marketer with experience in B2B SaaS or tech, who's ready to take full ownership of a high-impact content strategy.
You'll be the go-to content expert, responsible for planning, producing, and optimising content across the funnel, from thought leadership and SEO-driven articles to sales assets, product messaging, and campaign copy. Role Profile:
* Own and execute the content strategy across multiple channels
* Create high-quality, multi-format content (blogs, guides, video scripts, landing pages)
* Lead social media and newsletter activity using LinkedIn and HubSpot
* Collaborate with Design, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
* Measure and optimise content performance using SEO and analytics tools
* Manage SEO strategy and content performance metrics
* Provide mentorship and support to a junior team member
* Develop campaign copy and product messaging that resonates with target audiences
* Ensure content supports pipeline growth and brand visibility
* Maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all assets
Person Specification:
* 5+ years of content marketing experience in a B2B SaaS or tech company
* Proven ability to create and execute content strategies independently
* Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong portfolio
* Experience with tools such as Umbraco, HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Adobe InDesign
* Strategic thinker with commercial awareness and understanding of how content drives growth
* Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
* Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
