We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in providing exceptional service to our customers. This role involves supporting the catering team in delivering high-quality food and beverage services
Duties
* Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with food safety standards.
* ensuring all equipment is clean and organised.
* Serve food and beverages to customers with professionalism and attention to detail.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
* Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth operation.
* Support with inventory management, including tracking supplies and reporting shortages.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in hospitality or catering is preferred.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Experience in food preparation .
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
* particularly in fast-paced settings.
* A positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.
* Be able to offer cover for staff holidays, Sickness, include 6:30am starts and Saturdays
* Mon 7am - 2pm
* Wed 12-2 term time only
* Thur 12-2 term time only
* From January more days and hours will become available
* Fri 8am - 2pm
* Saturday 7:30am - 1:30pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 7 – 11 per week
Work Location: In person
