ServiceNOW Senior Solution Architect
Location: Erskine, Scotland (required to be on site)
Salary: Dependent on Experience
Due to Security clearance requirements, candidates must be UK nationals/British passport holders/Single nationality/resided in the UK for 10 years.
The role:
As a ServiceNow Senior Solution Architect, you will lead scoping, design, development, and implementation activities across client projects to deliver world-class ServiceNow solutions. You will analyze new business requirements and determine correct technical solutions, working closely with engagement leads, project managers, business analysts, developers, and testers to ensure standards are met.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the technical delivery of projects based on the ServiceNow platform.
* Define technical solutions at an architectural and design level.
* Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior architects and development teams.
* Deliver solution demonstrations across the ServiceNow platform.
* Design and implement technical integrations between ServiceNow, IT, and business services.
* Assist development teams in resolving complex technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
* Continuously grow knowledge of the ServiceNow platform through certifications, webinars, case studies, training, and community engagement.
* Establish strong relationships with clients and team members to promote DXC's reputation.
* Build relationships within DXC’s global ServiceNow resources.
* Contribute to DXC’s ServiceNow product roadmap development.
* Ensure project teams comply with DXC solution standards and frameworks.
* Share knowledge within the wider DXC community and expand your professional network.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in consulting, professional services, and technical delivery.
* Track record of delivering complex ServiceNow projects on time and within budget as a Solution Architect.
* Certified ServiceNow System Administrator.
* Certified Implementation Specialist in at least one product suite.
* Certified in ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4).
* Deep understanding of technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions, including Integration Hub, SSO, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, etc.
* Experience delivering solutions in complex client environments.
* Knowledge of business analysis techniques.
* Experience with agile and traditional project methodologies.
* Excellent communication skills to influence and align stakeholders.
* Strong negotiation, influencing, and team management skills.
* Resilience and drive to overcome challenges.
* Continuous learning mindset and self-development.
* Proficiency in programming languages, operating systems, and relevant software.
* Extensive experience with business solutions, especially CSDM/CMDB roles.
* Knowledge of industry trends and competitor products.
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
* Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
* Ability to build networks and work collaboratively.
* Willingness to travel and work from home as needed.
