Are you a Senior Bench Joiner looking to step into a leadership role where you can drive continuous improvement, develop high-performing teams, and play a key role in shaping a leading fitout company in the UK and Ireland ?
This company specialise in providing internal design and shopfitting solutions to a range of retail and commercial sectors working with blue-chip clients across the UK and Ireland such as Danone ,Tim Hortons, Sky and Dulux. Since their establishment over 75 years ago, they have grown substantially now employing over 50 people across their two branches and are looking to expand their team.
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the joinery workshop, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You'll work closely with departments including sales, customer service, logistics, installations, and warehousing to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will also take ownership of mentoring and developing your team, championing Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping to drive measurable improvements across the workshop.

The Role:
Leading daily joinery workshop operations, ensuring safety, quality, output, and cost control
Managing production workflow, resource allocation, and delivery against production plans
Implementing and championing Lean Manufacturing tools such as Kaizen, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping
Monitoring and reporting on production KPIs including efficiency, downtime, and quality metricsThe Person:
