Stroud High School is a 21st century girls’ grammar school with a co educational Sixth Form. At our core is a belief that every young person deserves to feel they belong, to be understood and to experience success, whatever their starting point. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in turning that belief into reality.

We are a high performing school, consistently ranked among the very highest performing state schools in the South West (Sunday Times Parent Power), and we place exceptional value on inclusion, wellbeing and pastoral care alongside academic excellence. In 2025, Stroud High School was the Sunday Times State School of the Year in the South West.

In our most recent Ofsted inspection, Stroud High School was judged Outstanding across all five areas. Inspectors praised the school’s “highly ambitious vision” for pupils, the exemplary conduct of students, and the strong culture of mutual support across the school community.
