bespoke, handcrafted furniture and complete interior solutions. With over 35 years in
business, we combine exceptional craftsmanship with a personal, approachable service for both private clients and professional partners. Our new showroom marks an exciting new chapter, and we're looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and commercially savvy individual to help tell our story and grow our business.
Role Overview:
This is a hybrid role that combines social media marketing and in-showroom sales. You will be the voice of QLS online, managing our core social media platforms and email marketing. Along with arrange showroom point of sales materials.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Marketing:
● Manage QLS's social media channels, currently Instagram and Facebook, with
potential expansion into TikTok, LinkedIn, Houzz, Pinterest, and website blog
content.
● Create and schedule engaging, on-brand posts in line with the QLS social media
strategy, including product spotlights, behind-the-scenes features, seasonal
campaigns, and showroom events.
● Manage and grow the QLS email marketing programme (currently on Flodesk),
including campaign creation, list management, and performance tracking.
● Ensure all content reflects the QLS brand tone of voice, which is characterised by
luxury, approachability, family values, and attention to detail.
● Monitor and report on social media and email metrics (including engagement, reach,
click-throughs, conversions, etc.), providing clear insights and recommendations for
improvement.
● Stay up-to-date with social media trends and adapt creative approaches where
relevant, all while maintaining brand identity.
● Support marketing campaigns for showroom events and product launches, including
asset creation, digital promotion, and coverage.
● Liaise with photographers, videographers, and other creatives where needed to
produce high-quality visual content.
● Upload blog content to the QLS website, focusing on luxury interiors topics that
appeal to both B2C and B2B audiences.
Sales & Showroom:
● Welcome and assist customers in the QLS showroom, offering an exceptional,
personalised experience.
● Confidently explain QLS's bespoke capabilities across product categories, from sofas
and joinery to lighting and beds.
● Guide customers through materials, finishes, and customisation options, ensuring
they understand the craftsmanship and value of QLS products.
● Serve both B2C clients (private homeowners, high-net-worth individuals) and B2B
partners (interior designers, developers, architects) with a tailored approach.
● Follow up with showroom visitors and online enquiries to convert leads into confirmed
orders.
● Maintain a deep understanding of QLS products, pricing, lead times, and processes.
● Support in maintaining showroom presentation, ensuring displays are pristine, prices
are clearly visible, and product information is accessible.
● Assist in preparing and delivering showroom events, open days, and designer
showcases.
Key Skills & Attributes:
● Strong experience managing Instagram and Facebook for a brand or business
(experience with LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, and Houzz is a bonus).
● Proficiency in email marketing tools (Flodesk preferred) and basic analytics tools
(Meta Insights, Google Analytics).
● Skilled in creating engaging content, photography, short-form video, and written copy
to a professional and brand-aligned standard.
● Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate confidently with high-end clients and
industry professionals.
● Sales experience in a luxury retail or interiors environment preferred.
● An understanding of luxury brand presentation and the importance of tone of voice.
● Comfortable analysing data and reporting back actionable insights.
● Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
● A genuine interest in luxury interiors, craftsmanship, and design trends.
● Ability to maintain discretion and professionalism when dealing with high-profile or
high-net-worth clients.
Performance Goals:
● Grow QLS social media audience and engagement in line with brand positioning.
● Increase website and showroom traffic via social and email campaigns.
● Support the conversion of showroom visitors and online enquiries into sales.
● Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings for in-showroom service.
● Deliver accurate, timely reporting on marketing and sales activity.
