Job Description
The Role
To provide support to the Cyber & Technology team in London in running a diverse portfolio of open market risks, lineslips and delegated authorities business emanating from multiple platforms, brokers and territories.
Responsibilities will include:
To assist underwriters in the underwriting of Technology & Cyber business.
To assist in the development and maintenance of good working relationships with brokers and clients to establish Canopius as a preferred market for Technology & Cyber business.
Assist in preparation of all necessary contract documentation for referral, new and renewal business.
Binder administration including bordereaux management, DUA liaison, EPI monitoring and assisting in the preparation of data as appropriate.
Monitoring underwriters’ workloads and reporting to ensure all risks are processed within required timeframes.
Act as the point of contact and liaison for query resolution between underwriting support and underwriters.
Weekly/monthly/annual reporting including preparing data for weekly meetings, reinsurance and any other ad-hoc management reporting request.
Assist claims when policy information is required.
Manage various short and long term projects as assigned by underwriters.
Attend relevant client meetings and underwriting calls.
