We are looking for an Accounts Supervisor to join our busy Business Support Services Team. In recent years our client portfolio has grown significantly, offering all accountancy services from tax advice to debt solutions, for a variety of clients in various sectors.

THE ROLE
1. Management of a small portfolio of SME businesses
2. Maintaining regular client contact to deliver a proactive and client centred service
3. Training and supervising students within the team
4. Reviewing work of colleagues and students and providing constructive feedback and development pointers
5. Preparation of Limited Company, LLP, partnership and sole trader accounts
6. Preparation of management accounts
7. Drafting of Personal and Corporation Tax computations
8. Assisting departmental assistant managers with ad hoc client tasks
9. Maintaining up to date technical knowledge of accounting standards, corporation and personal tax
10. Oral and written communication with client and HMRC
11. Excellent development opportunities
ABOUT YOU
12. You should be 1 -2 years post qualification (ACCA, ICAS, ICEAW), with experience in practice
13. You will enjoy working directly with clients from a range of sectors.
14. Competent in the preparation of sole trader, FRS102 and FRS102 1A Limited Company accounts
15. Able to demonstrate and have a clear commitment to delivering first class service to clients and colleagues alike
16. Good attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
17. Ability to manage your own workload and work on own initiative to meet tight deadlines and working within budget.
18. You will have excellent IT skills and have a proven ability to retain knowledge
19. Strong communication skills both oral and written
