The CSU incorporates the following areas, which you will be responsible for supporting. Elective and Acute Theatres Anaesthetics Decontamination Pre Operative Assessment Critical Care Pain Management Sleep services Elective surgical wards – inpatient and day case Working closely with the General Manager and the CSU Triumvirate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, effective, and high-quality delivery of services across the CSU. This includes supporting the achievement of operational targets in access, finance, and quality, while driving service efficiency and patient-centred care. Drive and manage change initiatives to enhance service provision and meet evolving patient and system needs. Influence strategic development within the Theatres, Anaesthetics & Critical Care portfolio, working closely with the Clinical Director, General Manager, and Deputy Director of Nursing. Take responsibility for ensuring the CSU meets all local and national performance objectives and standards. Oversee the management of key resources —including staff, estates, and budgets—as delegated by the General Manager.
