Choices Homecare are seeking a Care Service Scheduler for our branch. This pivotal role is based within our branch and will support our regional care providers in their daily duties. Demonstrating planning and resource management to ensure that Choices Homecare allocates resources to support the delivery of high-quality, people-focused services in your community. About Choices Homecare We are seeking a Care Service Scheduler who will embody our PRIDE values and want to be part of a team that truly makes a difference. We collaborate closely with local authorities, healthcare providers, and care professionals to deliver outcome-focused care.
Working hours: 09:00-17:00 - Monday to Friday
Location: Barnsley Office
Key responsibilities
* Create staffing schedules with a purpose to run our services efficiently and effectively.
* Manage a 365-year service schedule.
* React to circumstances that may affect a schedule and adjust accordingly.
* Collaborate with the wider team to fulfil the schedule's commitment to service.
* Implement new starters into a work flow.
* Identify and highlight areas of improvement to workforce planning.
* Prepare for rotational on-call basis.
What you’ll need
* Strong organisational and solution-focused approach.
* Demonstrates strong leadership qualities.
* Strong teamwork ethos.
* Strong IT skills and experience with scheduling systems (or a willingness to learn).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Competent to be both proactive and reactive to a daily workflow.
* Experience in logistics, workforce planning, or scheduling is desirable.
