Technical Sales Surveyor - Bristol - Apply Now to join Stannah
We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Technical Sales Surveyor to join Stannah's Dedicated Homelift Business.
You will be responsible for delivering the sales of Homelifts, steplifts, and ceiling track hoists by attending sales appointments. This covers all products managed by the Uplifts operation within the public and private sectors of the domestic market.
A strong industry understanding is desirable for this role.
Ideally, you will be based in the Bristol or Swindon area. You will work closely with our supply partners to manage the specification and installation of these domestic products effectively.
An essential requirement of the role is experience in assessing and surveying domestic lifts to a high standard.
Good product knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
To succeed, you will need excellent communication skills, first-class personal presentation, good numeracy, and IT literacy.

Key Responsibilities
1. Attend sales appointments with business-to-consumer customers and Local Authority clients.
2. Assess client needs and specify suitable products.
3. Provide accurate and timely quotations.
4. Conduct thorough technical surveys and complete documentation within KPIs.
5. Report monthly sales figures.
6. Liaise with subcontractors for building preparatory works quotations.
7. Attend joint visits with builders when needed.
8. Perform site checks to ensure readiness for installation.
9. Advise and support customer’s builders.
10. Develop relationships within Local Authorities and understand their organizational procedures.
11. Engage in personal development and training.
12. Follow health and safety responsibilities and report incidents.
13. Provide cover for team members during absences.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
1. GCSE English Grade C or above.
2. Industry knowledge is desirable.
3. Proven experience in assessing and surveying domestic lifts.
4. Valid UK driving license.
