Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Installation Manager to lead installation teams across domestic renewable energy projects throughout the UK.
This is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing Solar PV, battery storage (BESS), and EV charging installations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate installation teams and subcontractors across multiple UK sites
* Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of Solar PV, battery storage, and EV charger installations
* Conduct pre‑tender surveys and provide technical design/procurement input
* Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and H&S legislation
* Supervise testing, commissioning, and system handover
* Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
* Monitor labour/material budgets and manage project profitability
* Drive quality, safety, and process improvements
Experience
* Proven leadership experience managing installation teams and subcontractors.
* Strong knowledge of PV, battery storage, and EV charger installations.
Qualifications
* C&G 2360 Part 1 & 2, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
* C&G 2391 (or 2394/2395) and 18th Edition (BS 7671).
* MCS‑accredited training/certification in Solar PV installation (e.g., C&G 2922, BPEC or LCL Level 3 in Solar PV and EESS).
* Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS).
* ECS Gold Card and full, clean UK driving licence.
