Pre-Construction Manager | Main Contractor Experience Essential
We are looking for a Pre-Construction Manager to join our clients growing Bid Team, playing a key role in assessing the buildability, feasibility, and pricing of major construction projects.
This role is ideal for someone who has progressed from a construction delivery background and understands how projects are built in practice. You will bring your practical experience to the front end of projects, ensuring tenders are realistic, efficient, and deliverable.

* Develop construction programmes using ASTA or similar planning software
* Produce method statements and risk assessments
* Review and assess proposed sites and project logistics
* Support pricing by providing construction methodology and sequencing input
* Liaise with clients and consultants, responding to technical queries during the tender stage
* Present ideas and solutions clearly to internal teams and clients
This is not a bid writing or bid coordination role. We are looking for someone with strong construction delivery knowledge.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
* A construction background with a main contractor
* Typically started through a management trainee / graduate route
* Around 5–10 years' experience delivering projects
* Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery
* Experience with ASTA Powerproject or similar programming software
* Good IT skills including PowerPoint
* Strong communication and client-facing skills
Why This Role?
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently delivering projects who wants to move into a strategic pre-construction role, influencing projects before they reach site. You'll be working with experienced teams on high-quality projects, helping shape how they are built from day one as part of a growing company.
