An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and dynamic clinical support worker within the Intensive Support Team (ISF) Wirral. You will join a small and friendly team consisting of a Specialist Nurse, Clinical Psychologist, and two Assistant Psychologists.
This post is a Band 3, full-time, permanent position, working with the team to support the delivery of intensive interventions within the community for young people with a diagnosis of autism and/or a learning disability, aiming to prevent the need for hospital admission.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication, organisational, and IT skills, who can work autonomously.
The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.
You will have:
1. A high level of enthusiasm and dedication to providing quality, community-based mental health support services to children and young people with disabilities and their families.
2. Experience of and/or an interest in working with children and young people with disabilities and their families.
3. Necessary communication skills to develop working relationships with families and young people, with the ability to think flexibly and adapt support using reasonable adjustments to engage effectively.
4. The main duties will include working with the team, providing clinical and clerical support under the supervision of the specialist nurse. The role requires good information and computer technology skills, and access to transport as the work is community-based and involves travel across the Wirral locality.
