Head of transmission & distribution

This opportunity, with a well established global consultancy, offers the scope to build on an established foundation of clients and expand the current UK T&D business. Utilising strong technical capability across multiple locations the role will be ‘front end’ heavy with extensive involvement in bids for projects with DNO’s, National Grid and major contractors.

We are looking for skills and experience including:

• A relevant degree – Electrical Engineering or similar (essential).
• Extensive experience in technical project delivery of major substation/HV transmission schemes.
• Experience of leading bids/proposals with current knowledge of pricing, supply chain and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative ‘one team’ approach.
• International project experience is preferred together with experience of working in matrix organisations.
