Overview
The Logistics Department at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary (DGRI) is looking to recruit a Ward Product Officer. You will provide a vital role in ensuring clinical areas have the products they require to allow clinicians to provide care for patients via the Ward Top Up service.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Logistics Manager and team members.
* Ensure clinical areas have required products.
* Maintain efficient product supply and support clinical staff.
Qualifications & Skills
* Good communication skills and attention to detail.
* IT skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Customer service orientation.
* Willingness to learn and flexible approach to workplace demands.
Experience
* Experience in manual handling desirable (training provided).
Training & Development
Full training and development for this role will be provided.
Working Hours
Mon–Thurs 8am‑4pm + Fri 8am‑3.30pm (until 31 March 2026). From 1 April 2026, Mon‑Fri 8am‑3.40pm.

Agenda For Change
From 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata, but the hourly rate will be increased to keep pay unchanged.
