Job Details
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, with a shift pattern of 7 day shifts. The salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.
Department and Role
Clyde Haematology is seeking a Band 6 Specialist Biomedical Scientist. Biomedical Scientists form the core technical team, working individually and collaboratively to analyze and validate a wide range of specialist and routine laboratory diagnostic investigations in Haematology/Blood Transfusion. The role involves providing 24/7 shifts to ensure service continuity, with 50% of the rota currently involving lone work. Candidates must hold a BSc in Biomedical Science and HCPC registration.
