Temporary Electrical Installation Lecturer – FE College – Full Time (Until June)
We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Electrical Installation Lecturer to join a Further Education College on a full-time basis until June.
This role will involve delivering engaging teaching to students studying Electrical Installation programmes, supporting learners to develop both their practical workshop skills and underpinning knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching across Electrical Installation programmes (Level 2–3)
*
Plan and deliver practical and theory-based lessons within workshop and classroom environments
*
Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
*
Support apprentices and full-time learners in achieving their qualifications
*
Maintain accurate records in line with awarding body and college requirements
*
Ensure a safe and productive learning environment within the electrical workshops
Requirements:
*
Relevant Electrical Installation qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
*
Experience teaching within Further Education or training electrical apprentices
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds 2382) desirable
*
Teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed / DTLLS) desirable
*
Enhanced DBS on ideally the Update Service or willingness to obtain prior to starting
