We are seeking a dedicated and outstanding Geography Teacher to join our Humanities department from September 2025 on a permanent, full-time basis.
What does this job do?
1. Plan and deliver a broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for students.
2. Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and form tutor.
3. Encourage and deliver a learning experience that enables students to achieve their individual potential.
4. Contribute to raising student attainment.
What are the job requirements?
* QTS Qualification.
* Excellent knowledge of national and examination curricular requirements of Geography.
* Proven ability to plan lessons with clear objectives ensuring progression for all students.
* Effective teaching experience across Key Stage 3 and 4.
* Strong commitment to safeguarding children and young people.
* Experience teaching KS3-KS4 students, with an understanding of secondary school teaching provisions.
* Having a second Humanities subject qualification is beneficial.
