Roles and Responsibilities Overview
We are looking for a commercially focused Senior Marketing Manager to lead and shape the next phase of growth at Face the Future. This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for marketing performance across all channels. You will sit within the Leadership Circle and play a key role in driving revenue, improving efficiency, and strengthening our brand position, along with the brands which we retail position in the market.
To own and deliver the marketing strategy and performance of the business, ensuring strong and sustainable revenue growth. This role is responsible for balancing brand development with commercial outcomes, improving acquisition efficiency, and increasing customer lifetime value. You will lead a multi-channel marketing function while working closely with eCommerce, Brand, Customer Service and Operations to deliver aligned, high-impact trading plans.
Key Accountabilities
* Define and lead the overall annual and quarterly marketing strategy aligned with business growth targets, brand joint business plans
* Ensuring communications are aligned across all marketing channels and cross promotional activities between the Face The Future and Luxurious Look brands
* Supporting with the marketing strategy for the clinic
* Working with key stakeholders on developing a best-in-class brand and product launch plan, which delivers high levels of discoverability and purchase levels
* To work with other department leads on communicating, planning and delivering the operational requirements of the business and that relevant updates across all departments are communicated across the entire business.
* Work closely with the other department leads on trading and brand plans and the successful implementation of these across the business.
* Develop clear channel strategies across paid, owned, and earned media
* Ensure marketing activity supports trading plans, promotions, and key commercial periods
* Owning the development and implementation of Retail Media, including brand marketing packages, and bespoke plans, to support brands growth objectives
* Own marketing performance across all channels with clear accountability for growing revenue, efficiency and margin contribution
* Increase the brand awareness, engagement and consideration, building on our positioning as experts in the health and beauty market
* Owning the overall management of the marketing budget, ensuring this is appropriately set and managed in line with business performance
* Contributing to annual forecasting and taking ownership of delivering the plan and agreed KPI’s
* Ownership of all marketing channels from awareness to loyalty, across paid, owned and earned media
* Work with the eCommerce team on the CRM strategy across email and SMS platforms
* Leading on the development of new routes to market to our customers, including complementary partnerships
* Working on the development of custom communication across all platforms, whilst ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all customer touchpoints
* Leading on the development of new testing opportunities, providing business cases for new initiatives aligned to overall objectives and leading on the implementation of all tests
* To be the guardian of our brand guidelines and to evolve these as required
* To be accountable for all existing and new content marketing initiatives, driving new customer acquisition and improving customer retention
* To lead, develop and inspire the marketing team, ensuring all activity is to the expected quality standard and timeframes and the team deliver against their objectives set out, and ensuring strong collaboration with eCommerce, Brand, and Content teams
* Continuously investing time in enhancing your knowledge in both the health and beauty industry and marketing knowledge, and sharing with the team
* Ensuring that AI is embedded into the team, to support with both workflow optimisation and improved decision making
* Work collaboratively with all external marketing agencies to deliver strong results and provide positive challenge, when required
* Appraising new 3rd party suppliers (service and technology), to understand how they can support in achieving our business objectives
Person Specification
* Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within eCommerce and the health and beauty sector
* Strong commercial mindset with clear ownership of revenue and performance metrics
* Experience managing multi-channel marketing strategies
* Combining a creative mindset with the utilization of a data led approach for decision making and comms planning
* Experience leading and developing teams
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving, hands-on environment
* Leads with accountability and takes ownership of outcomes
* Builds strong working relationships across departments
* Communicates clearly and keeps teams aligned
