Lecturer in General Building Are you an experienced industry professional looking for a new challenge and career change? Have you considered teaching, and passing on your skills to the next generation? We have a vacancy in our Construction & Engineering team working in our state‑of‑the‑art Construction Centre at Lancaster & Morecambe College. Applications are welcomed from qualified industry professionals with up‑to‑date experience in the relevant trade or industry who do not yet hold a teaching qualification. We would expect you to have a keen interest in the development of young people entering the profession and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and teaching potential. This is a unique opportunity for you to transition to a professional teaching role at the College. We will support your comprehensive on‑the‑job training programme, including initial teacher training qualification; individual support and mentoring; and, if required, a reduced teaching workload in the first year.
