About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and by joining us, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
Note: We have 33- or 44-hour contracts available, working day or night shifts from 8 am to 8 pm.
Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Your duties may involve assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, communication with families, and administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key aspects of your role. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. Your positive energy, ability to communicate kindly, and effective time management are essential.
