✦ About us
Holafly is a fast-growing start-up that is changing how travelers connect to the internet abroad. Since 2018, we’ve been providing peace of mind to travelers to more than 200 worldwide destinations. We are a young and international team of over 500 people based all around the world working to provide stress-free experiences for all travelers.
✦ About the role
We’re looking for a strategic communicator and storyteller who can elevate Holafly’s voice in the global tech and travel ecosystem. As a PR Specialist you will be mainly focused on Thought Leadership; you’ll be responsible for identifying and amplifying the unique perspectives of Holafly’s executive team and subject-matter experts — positioning them as authoritative voices in connectivity, innovation, sustainability, and global travel.
Your work will directly contribute to Holafly’s brand awareness, media presence, and reputation as a disruptive scale-up in the eSIM and travel-tech industries.
✦ Responsibilities
Thought Leadership Strategy
* Design and execute the thought leadership roadmap for Holafly’s executive team, aligning with business goals and brand pillars.
* Work directly with C-level and senior leaders to identify unique angles, develop their personal positioning, and craft long-form and short-form content (op-eds, interviews, conference scripts, LinkedIn posts).
* Pitch executives as speakers at relevant global events and conferences, and manage their speaker profiles, bios, and content assets.
* Monitor trends and conversations in the travel-tech space to insert Holafly’s voice where it matters most.
* Lead the LinkedIn content strategy for Holafly’s leadership team, ensuring their presence is consistent, credible, and aligned with their roles and expertise.
* Empower key employees and teams to become brand advocates on LinkedIn through training, content suggestions, and ongoing support.
* Take ownership of projects to position Holafly as the go-to media voice in our industry. You’ll work cross-functionally with content and tech teams to bring this vision to life.
* Partner with People & Culture to align messaging with employer brand objectives.
Media Relations & Executive Profiling
* Pitch thought leadership pieces and founder stories to top-tier media across key markets.
* Manage relationships with journalists, editors, and podcast/booker contacts relevant to business, travel, and tech verticals.
* Prepare executives for interviews with tailored briefings and talking points.
Measurement & Optimization
* Track and analyze the impact of thought leadership and LinkedIn strategies using defined KPIs (visibility, engagement, reach, earned media value).
* Provide clear reporting and recommendations to improve voice, reach, and positioning.
* Coordinate with the PR team to scale efforts globally.
✦ What do you need to succeed:
* Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in similar roles, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Proven experience in PR & Thought Leadership Strategies, preferably in international and fast-paced global environments.
* Strong writing and storytelling skills with a portfolio of successful PR campaigns or events.
* Excellent organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail.
* Familiarity with eSIM technology and telecom trends is an advantage.
* Willingness to travel occasionally for events and press engagements.
* Minimum C1 level of English (spoken and written) or native proficiency.
* Data-oriented mindset: able to analyze results and optimize events for maximum impact and efficiency.
* Comfortable working with autonomy and flexibility within a remote, fast-scaling team.
