Pipefitter Supervisor Location: SGF project Barrow in Furness Salary: £24.39 per hour (Plus £2.34 out of town allowance (if in lodgings), £1.71 second tier payment, £0.75 retention bonus, £49.27 lodge allowance) Job Purpose: The Pipefitter Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all pipefitting activities within industrial projects. This role ensures that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Supervision & Leadership: * Coordinate and guide a team of pipefitters, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met. * Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide technical guidance to resolve issues. Planning & Coordination: * Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules to plan pipefitting activities. * Coordinate with other trades and departments to avoid delays and conflicts. Quality & Compliance: * Ensure all installations meet project requirements, codes, and safety regulations. * Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle.
