Project Manager – Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

A growing interiors and refurbishment contractor in Milton Keynes is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial, education and healthcare fit‑out schemes ranging from £50k–£2.5m.
The role is office‑based with regular site visits, typically attending each project twice per week. You’ll manage two larger schemes or several smaller projects, taking full ownership from pre‑start through to handover.

Role Responsibilities
* Manage refurbishment and fit‑out projects from mobilisation to completion
* Attend client briefings, scoping meetings and progress reviews
* Prepare and manage project programmes
* Oversee subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
* Carry out twice‑weekly site visits to monitor progress, H&S and quality
* Manage procurement of materials and subcontract packages
* Handle RAMS, variations, progress reports and O&M documentation
* Maintain cost control and support commercial processes
* Act as main client contact throughout delivery
About You
* Strong communicator with a proactive, organised approach
* Confident managing multiple projects and deadlines
* 5+ years’ construction experience, ideally interiors/refurbishment
* Comfortable overseeing programme, quality, H&S and commercial elements
* Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
