To help ensure that requirements relating to charges, remuneration and unit transactions for new and migrated products on the new Platform are correctly specified, thoroughly tested and implemented, and to communicate progress to interested parties within the wider business
What you'll be doing:
* Aiding the setting of detailed requirements relating to the calculation of charges, remuneration and / or unit transactions for new products
* Aiding the setting of detailed requirements relating to the calculation of charges, remuneration and / or unit transactions for the migration of existing accounts
* Liaising with Business Analysts, the Architecture and Actuarial Teams within SJP
* Liaising with Business Analysts from the third-party suppliers
* Writing and/or QC-ing test scenarios to ensure the intricacies and interaction of charges, remuneration and / or unit transactions are covered
* Assessing test evidence
* Aiding in the triage of calculations defects and analysis of root causes
* Providing 'sign off' for successful test scenarios
* Aiding in the provision of MI to Project and Release Managers and other interested parties as required
* Reporting progress to interested parties within the Finance and Remuneration BAU functions

A self-starter with a keen attention to detail who enjoys investigating into numbers and figures to root out issues and help the business operate efficiently.
Essential Criteria
* Strong numerical skills
* Good proficiency in Excel, ie; Macro's, complex IF statements
* Strong analytical skills
* An understanding of charges/remuneration on pensions/bonds/investment products and the various "wrappers"
* Ability to work on own
* Ability to communicate analyses results/technical details to different stakeholders
Desirable Criteria
* An understanding of charges/remuneration on pensions/bonds/investment products and the various "wrappers"
* Experience of the development or testing of remuneration and/or charges and other transactions preferably on Bluedoor (or other policy admin systems)
* Experience doing analysis in Excel and SQL. Power Query and other Microsoft Power Apps
