Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pmResponsibilities:
Lesson Planning and Instruction: Designing engaging drama lessons, utilising a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
Assessment and Evaluation: Creating and grading assessments to evaluate student progress, including performances, written assignments, and class participation.
Classroom Management: Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment, addressing behavioural issues, and fostering a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
Student Support: Providing additional help to students who are struggling with the material and offering guidance and encouragement to those with a keen interest in drama.
Inspiring Creativity: Encouraging students to express themselves creatively and explore their talents in a supportive and nurturing environment.Experience, Training, and Qualifications:
Teaching Qualification: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience: Previous experience working in a UK secondary school is essential.
Safeguarding Training: Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable, but not essential as training is provided).Eligibility Requirements:
Right to Work in the UK
Enhanced Child Barred List DBS Certificate: Must be registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
