SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Coventry, CV4 (Tile Hill) Weekly Rate: £460 - £500 Contract: Long-term to Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Term Time Only) Start Date: ASAP Do you have a passion for supporting young learners with special educational needs? We are looking for a caring, flexible, and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Tile Hill area of Coventry (CV4). This full-time role involves supporting children across Reception and Key Stage One, with a focus on pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with ASD and SLCN Adapt communication methods to suit individual needs Assist with early learning activities and classroom routines Work alongside teachers and the SENCO to deliver personalised support plans Help create a calm, nurturing, and inclusive learning environmentWhat We're Looking For Previous experience supporting children in a school setting Confident working with children with ASD and SLCN Strong understanding of EYFS and Key Stage 1 approaches Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3) or related degree Patient, resilient, and consistent approach to supporting SEN pupils A team player with excellent communication skillsWhy Work with Long Term Futures?
