Occupational Therapist

Salary
Up to £53,200 FTE DOE (basic grade OT offers from £33,000+, Specialist from £39,500+ & Highly specialist from £48,000+)
Hours & Contract
22.5 hours per week, 8:30am‑4:30pm, Mondays and two other days to be agreed. Permanent (term‑time only, with flexibility for a full‑time contract available).
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the education team to deliver bespoke OT assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neuro‑divergent or have SEMH needs. Hold an occupational therapy caseload with full support from a designated clinical supervisor and site lead. Contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
Qualifications
* Recognised Occupational Therapy degree
* Valid and up to date HCPC registration
* Registered member of RCOT
* Relevant experience in providing OT services within a similar setting (preferred)
* Experience working with neuro‑divergent and/or socio‑emotional and mental health populations, with transferable skills evidence
* Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical application to support independence
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality (preferred)
* Ability to work independently, flexibly and confidently
* Clear and concise report‑writing skills
* Full UK driving licence with access to a car
* Interest in sensory integration or sensory‑informed practice (SI practitioner training in progress or completed is preferred, but not essential)
