Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Grab lorry driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials, ensuring timely deliveries across medway/rochester, and collection of muck. 7:15am start, working till around 4pm. yard is by Rainham, kent.
Duties
* Operate Grab lorry safely in accordance with road regulations and company policies
* Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment
* Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
* Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding delivery times and any unforeseen delays
* Adhere to health and safety standards at all times, including compliance with warehouse procedures
Qualifications
* Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with grab lorries
* Valid driver's licence suitable for driver roles, with a clean driving record
* Previous grab driver experience
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
* Ability to operate grab trucks safely and efficiently
