Job Description
Müller Yogurts and Desserts are recruiting for a Total Asset Care Training Specialist at our Market Drayton site.
As a Training Specialist, you will work directly with Unit Managers, MPS Tech Experts, Operators, Technical Trainers, relevant members of the Maintenance Team, and the wider OpEx Team to identify skill development needs using production loss and related engineering data. Your goal is to build the right capability in Unit Teams across the three sites.
You will also serve as the conduit between engineering expertise and operator upskilling, providing the necessary knowledge and skills for operators to undertake Operator Asset Care. This role aims to drive ownership within their units and positively impact relevant KPIs.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Coach operators on Operator Asset Care and Preventative Maintenance tools, techniques, and systems to build capability in Unit Teams across the sites.
- Support operators, engineers, and site teams to understand the principles of Operator Asset Care, its importance, and their role in performance improvement.
- Maintain the Competency framework with up-to-date requirements and ensure training materials support upskilling.
- Collaborate with the central OpEx team to develop training programs for Operator Asset Care and Preventative Maintenance, ensuring high technical competence within the operating team.
- Coach and mentor others on OAC and PM principles, tools, and techniques to ensure effective implementation.
- Deliver RCA, BDA, and other PM training to Maintenance teams.
- Make recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of the Müller Production System.
Skills and Experience
- Qualified apprentice, Engineering graduate, or HND minimum.
- TPM expertise, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, LCS 2B.
- Experience or understanding of engineering and maintenance procedures, including fault finding.
- Strong planning and prioritizing skills.
- Effective communication across multiple stakeholders.
- Mentoring and coaching abilities.
