Position
A fantastic school in Reading is looking for a Graduate (Criminology or Psychology would be relevant) to work as a Learning Support Assistant from Monday to Friday, starting ASAP. The school caters to pupils with a range of social and emotional difficulties, challenging behaviours, and low self‑esteem. You will play a significant role in helping students make positive choices, guiding their behaviour, and increasing engagement inside and outside the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with a wide array of needs, including anxiety, social withdrawal, anger issues, trauma, grief, and social difficulties.
* Provide both 1:1 and group support to vulnerable students.
* Help students make positive choices and guide their behaviour.
