Oral Health Improvement Coordinators/trainer (KSG) - 1x Fixed Term Full Time for 2 years 1.0wte 37 hours Sessions House, Maidstone - 1x Fixed Term Part Time for 2 years 0.8wte 29.6 hours 4 days Sessions House, Maidstone We are looking to appoint two Oral Health Improvement Coordinators/trainers to join our thriving public health team in Kent County Council. You will need to be experienced in encouraging, motivating and supporting participation and giving presentations both virtually and in person. As the Oral Health Improvement Coordinator/trainer, you will be supporting a new oral health programme of work and engaging with and delivering training to staff in early years settings, schools and community settings. In this role you will plan, implement, deliver and evaluate the supervised toothbrushing programme in early years settings, schools, community settings and ensure appropriate quality assurance and evaluation mechanisms are in place to measure its effectiveness. You will have a keen interest and enthusiasm for supporting health improvement/health and wellbeing during the early years and commitment to undertaking training in the areas of oral health improvement and Infection Prevention Control. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to form professional relationships with key representatives and demonstrable experience of working effectively in a team. The role of the Oral Health Improvement Coordinator/Training will be across Kent, so frequent travel is required. All roles will be supported, and line managed by a Public Health Specialist and be part of a friendly, dynamic and supportive team which promotes professional development and will recognise your achievements.
