Job Title: Facilities Manager
Location: Avonside School, Bristol BS4 5PS
Salary: 35,000.00 per (not pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent | Full Time | 52 weeks

Our New Acorn School, Avonside School in Bristol, has a capacity for 72 pupils and opened August 2025. The school is a co-educational provision for pupils with complex needs including SEMH.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the facilities team
* Ensure that the facilities provided are of a high standard at all times
* Coordinate the capital and operational expenditure
* Monitor and audit schedules of work and the quality of completed projects
* Ensure cost effective contracts are in place
* Prioritise planned and responsive workload
* Manage and be part of the on call/out of hours response team
* Support with Health and Safety, food hygiene, fire management and building-related technical matters
