Ready to lead something from the ground up? This is a rare opportunity to launch and shape a brand new Day Rehab programme in North Northamptonshire, working full time (35 hours per week). As Senior Counsellor, you'll play a pivotal role in building, developing, and leading a high‑performing counselling team, while making a real difference in people's lives.
You'll combine hands‑on clinical work with leadership, ensuring high‑quality delivery, strong outcomes, and a supportive, motivated team environment.
Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and develop a team of counsellors, students, and volunteers
* Oversee delivery of a high-quality psychosocial/psychoeducational Day Rehab programme
* Monitor performance, standards, and client outcomes to ensure effective service delivery
* Hold a caseload and support client assessments, referrals, and care planning
* Facilitate team meetings, supervision, and staff development
* Ensure accurate records, compliance, safeguarding, and quality assurance processes
Qualifications
* A qualified and experienced counsellor with leadership or supervisory experience
* Strong understanding of psychosocial and psychoeducational treatment models
* Confident managing teams, performance, and service delivery
* Passionate about delivering impactful client outcomes
* Organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
