This will include: • Maintaining robust control and analysis of overhead and operational costs, including preparation of variance analysis • Producing management accounts and supporting periodic financial reporting • Supporting the year-end statutory accounts process and working with external auditors • Preparing and reviewing key balance sheet reconciliations as part of the month-end process • Assisting with the preparation and review of VAT, and other indirect tax returns • Responding to tax-related queries and supporting appropriate documentation and processes • Contributing to initiatives that improve the effectiveness of finance and operational processes • Providing financial and technical accounting support to stakeholders across the organisation • Supporting project work such as system enhancements, banking analysis, and technical reviews • Compiling information for Board packs and senior-level financial reporting Who this role is for This opportunity would suit someone who: • Is part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) • Has a strong grounding in financial accounting and reporting • Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment • Communicates confidently with both finance and non-finance stakeholders • Values collaboration, openness, and continuous improvement • Is comfortable working on-site full time near Crossgates The environment & reward • Performance-related bonus • Annual pay review • Company pension scheme • Clear career development opportunities • Regular team and company social events • Free on-site gym
