General Information Business Information: The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 1500 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries. Mission Statement Technical Project Engineering focuses on a range of engineering disciplines e.g., electrical, mechanical, chemical, civil, structural, automation and software engineering. The activities associated with project engineering include discipline engineering and design; planning, risk assessments; coordination of resources (personnel and equipment). Your Responsibilities Design and verify the HMI application for various FACTS projects Design and verify SCADA/GWS application for various projects Support design of communication network by preparing related documents and also with the implementation Knowledge on the quality process connected with the project execution, continuous improvement programs Exposure in commissioning support for HMI / SCADA site testing Take ownership for the project KPIs such as OTD, COPQ etc. Design and testing, Factory Verification Customer Factory Acceptance Test Project Documentation, Customer meetings Your Background BE / BTech (ECE, EEE, E&I) 2- 5 years of operating experience in the industrial control system or SAS Experience in designing HMI for industrial applications using InTouch or equivalent software Good working knowledge on HMI animation concepts and logics Good knowledge on communication protocols for SCADA/network Prior experience in SAS most preferred Experience in Process and ISO audits Basic Info Location Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India Job type Full time Experience Entry Level Job function Engineering & Science Contract Regular Publication date 2023-09-05 Reference number R0028444 Share this job
