Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced operational leader to join our operational leadership team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH). Due to forthcoming maternity leave, we are looking for someone with senior operational leadership experience seeking a Deputy Executive role within our Trust.
This is an exciting time for NUH as we prepare to open the new National Rehabilitation Centre, roll out the Nerve Centre electronic patient record system, and undertake a major programme of transformational change within outpatient and administration services to improve the patient experience.
As a motivated self‑starter, you will lead operational services within the NHS, perhaps already steering a large care group or serving as a Deputy COO, and apply your experience within a new organisation. You will work within a supportive team alongside two experienced Deputy COOs, covering agendas of planned and urgent care and key strategic projects within the COO's portfolio.

The post-holder will be responsible for providing high-level operational leadership and planning, ensuring safe, high‑quality, efficient delivery of day‑to‑day operational management of the Trust that meets patient needs, achieves set standards and financial targets.
