Job Overview:
As a Level 3 Technician/Assistant Manager, you will be a key member of the workshop team, responsible for carrying out advanced diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on a wide range of vehicles. You will also be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of the workshop, ensuring the team operates efficiently, and providing guidance to junior technicians. This role offers a great opportunity for an experienced technician to move into a leadership position within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform high-level diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
* Supervise and guide junior technicians, ensuring quality work and efficient time management.
* Assist in the day-to-day operations of the workshop, including workflow management and task delegation.
* Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services carried out.
* Provide excellent customer service by explaining vehicle issues and repair options in a clear and professional manner.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and work to industry regulations.
* Help with managing stock levels and ordering parts when necessary.
Key Requirements:
* Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification (or equivalent).
* Extensive experience in diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Full UK driving license.
