This is a highly commercial, hands-on role within a fast-paced, operational manufacturing environment. You will play a key part in driving profitability, supporting business decisions, and partnering with operations and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Calculate and maintain accurate costs for all products, ensuring new and existing items meet margin targets.
* Monitor profitability by product and customer, highlighting areas for improvement or concern to the senior team.
* Work closely with operations and commercial teams to find more cost-effective ways of working and improve overall business performance.
* Manage price changes related to material costs and help implement these with customers.
* Prepare monthly sales forecasts by product and customer, track actual performance, and flag any issues.
* Review stock levels, investigate discrepancies, and suggest solutions for slow-moving items with the wider team.
