The Senior Bid Solutions Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality, clarity, and strategic alignment of bid content produced by expert contributors. This role focuses on shaping compelling, customer-focused narratives that meet client requirements and evaluation criteria, less so on coordinating bid logistics which are orchestrated by the Bid Managers. You will lead storyboarding and win theme development, provide editorial oversight, and coach subject matter experts to elevate the standard of submissions. Acting as a bridge between technical input and persuasive messaging, you will drive continuous improvement in content quality and contribute to the development of reusable, high-impact bid materials
Role Purpose
The Senior Bid Solutions Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative, scalable, and client-centric bid responses. This role is responsible for translating strategic objectives and business requirements into robust technical responses that align with best practices and enterprise standards and form compelling and winning outputs for the development of new revenues for the business.
The Senior Bid Solutions Manager will collaborate closely with wider, virtual bid teams, delivery leads, and subject matter experts, to design and articulate compelling solutions that drive value and enable transformation. The role also ensures fostering of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and alignment with emerging technologies and methodologies.
After bid submission, the Senior Bid Solutions Manager remains involved through the presentation and negotiation stages, ensuring all lessons learned are fed back and implemented. Responsibilities include the introduction and implementation of all necessary bid procedures, governance, and processes. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It requires strong people management and commercial skills.

Person Specification
Essential
* Proven experience in developing and delivering tailored, client-focused solutions as part of complex bid and proposal processes.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills whilst working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Understanding of the nature of a management consultancy business models.
* Ability to challenge subject matter expert (SME) positioning in line with bid win themes and strategy.
* Understanding of bid process best practice, i.e. Shipley.
* Understanding of bid corporate governance.
* Experienced in use of AI and other collaboration and workflow management tools.
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, and Power Point. Knowledge of Visio Mural or other software being an asset.
* Good writing skills - ability to gather information and present it in a cohesive manner.
* Willingness to learn and take on more responsibility over time.
* Ability to work both individually and within a team environment collaboratively.
* Willingness to go through Security Clearance process.
* Flexibility on working hours and travel when required, this will predominantly be a remote role.Average 2-3 days per month in the office, depending on workload/demand.
