A long-established British engineering firm, recognised globally for life-saving technology in the aerospace sector, is seeking an experienced machinist to join its precision machine shop in Uxbridge. The successful candidate will play a key role in the production of safety-critical components for some of the world’s most advanced military aircraft, manufacturing to tight tolerances and exacting quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Set and operate CNC machines to produce components to technical specifications. Inspect finished parts using conventional measuring techniques to ensure compliance with quality procedures. Perform basic maintenance on machines and tooling in line with TPM programmes and manuals. Deburr components to the required standard within the machine cycle. Skills & Experience: Proven machine shop experience, with the ability to read and work from technical drawings. Experience in tool setting, turning, and milling. Competence in component inspection to industry standards.
