Live-In Lifestyle / Care Assistant for a Sociology Uni Student
We are recruiting on behalf of a university student based in Southampton studying Sociology. Start: ASAP. Rota: 7 days on / 7 days off. Location: Southampton Solent (term time) / Hertfordshire, WD3 (off term). Pay: £200 per shift / £1,400 per week worked. Free accommodation whilst on shift. Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata. A clean automatic driving licence is required to drive the client\'s adapted vehicle.
Qualification and role details are described below. Care experience is not required as full training of our client\'s requirements will be provided.
About The Job
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive difference in our client\'s life. The client is quadriplegic cerebral palsy and uses a full-time wheelchair. They live in their family home and are studying Sociology at Southampton Solent University. They enjoy socialising, going to concerts, dining out, and shopping. The assistant will help with personal care and independent living support, and may accompany the client to uni in the future.

Qualities I Am Looking For: friendly, good sense of humour, same interests.
Important Things
* Willingness to help socialise and accompany to clubs/pubs, concerts, dinners with friends, etc.
* Respect for privacy; at times the client may want to be alone or with friends.
Qualifications And Requirements
* Automatic, clean Driving licence, 25+ years old for insurance purposes (Essential)
* Confident driver as they may drive the client\'s vehicle in the future
* Excellent sense of humour and ability to not take life too seriously
* Physical fitness, patience, and a caring nature
* Strong communication and listening skills
* Mature and responsible attitude
* Fluent in English
* Clean and tidy appearance
