Responsibilities
* Be or become trained in the specialist area of neonatal clinical pharmacy provision.
* Be or become trained in the specialist area of TPN provision within neonates and paediatrics.
* Support the lead neonatal pharmacist in developing guidelines and monographs to support medicines management on the unit.
* Support the lead neonatal pharmacist with the introduction of standardised concentrations of infusions and injectables in line with network practice.
* Be part of the neonatal digital workstream and work closely with the neonatal digital nurse to further develop electronic prescribing on the neonatal unit.
Qualifications
* Masters Degree (4‑year MPharm or equivalent) in Pharmacy.
* Registered as a pharmacist with the GPhC.
* Post‑Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice and completion of the Diploma, or equivalent external credentialing via CPPE/RPS.
* Post‑Graduate Diploma/MSc in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent experience/qualification/credentialing.
* Independent Prescriber.
* Completion of a formal Leadership programme and direct patient care in more than one setting or clinical area.
* Experience in quality improvement, service evaluation or audit.
* Mentoring and training others in a healthcare setting.
* Taking the lead in a team or project.
* Hospital experience in more than one setting or clinical area.
* Appropriate UK professional registration.
Interview Process
