Installation Technician (Medical)Location: North Manchester & HeathrowJob Type: Full Time, PermanentSalary: £35 - £50k (depending on experience) + OvertimeAbout the RoleTxP are seeking a practical and motivated Medical Installation Technician to support the delivery, installation, and positioning of high-value medical imaging equipment across the UK and Europe. This is a hands-on, varied role working closely with internal project teams, external contractors, and customers on-site to ensure successful project execution.This position requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to travel and stay away from home regularly.Main ResponsibilitiesDeliver and positioning of high-value medical equipment including CT, MRI, and X-ray systemsCarry out on-site installation tasks such as cabling, final connections, and system cover alignmentWork closely with project coordinators, client teams, and third-party contractors to ensure smooth project deliveryPerform driving, loading/unloading, and manual handling duties across the UK and Europe using specialist equipmentComplete required documentation, paperwork, and timesheets accuratelySupport technical centre activities, demo equipment preparation, and general service or maintenance tasks as requiredWhat You BringSkills & ExperienceA practical aptitude with a strong willingness to learnExperience in mechanical and/or electrical installations (field service or installation background desirable)Experienced driver with a clean licence, DVLA check will be requiredExcellent communication skills with experience dealing directly with customer contactsStrong teamwork skills with a flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to work independentlyAbility to accurately complete paperwork, timesheets, and reportsKnowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelGood general standard of educationFlexibility RequirementsWillingness to work flexible hoursPrepared to stay away from home regularly including travel across Europe on occasionsWilling to work up to two weekends per month (paid overtime)Salary & BenefitsSalary: £35k - £50k (depending on experience)28 days holiday, this includes the 8 days Bank/Public Holidays, incrementally increasing after 2 years to a max of 33 daysAuto-enrolment into Company Pension SchemeDental Care (subject to qualifying period)Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)Access to Company Benefits PlatformFree on-site parkingFree tea and coffeeIf you are interested in this position, please click apply and the team will be in touch!
