The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards of product quality, documentation, and compliance within a busy electro-mechanical manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
* Carry out quality control inspections on a range of electro-mechanical products and assemblies.
* Ensure all product documentation meets required manufacturing process standards.
* Verify that builds and assemblies conform to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
* Support the QA team by identifying and reporting quality deviations or trends.
* Coach and support production staff to promote quality awareness and adherence to standards.
* Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure full traceability of components and assemblies.
* Report and assist in root cause investigations for non-conformances.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of quality procedures and work instructions.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a Quality Control or Inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Experience inspecting to IPC 610/620 standards (desirable).
* Strong ability to interpret complex schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
