Job Summary
Pizza Buddies is seeking a passionate and skilled Pizzaiolo (Pizza Chef) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be highly experienced in the full Neapolitan pizza-making process, including dough handling, stretching, topping, and baking at a consistently high standard. Mastery of these techniques is mandatory, as quality and authenticity are central to our brand.
As a live catering company specialising in events, festivals, and private functions, Pizza Buddies requires a chef who thrives in fast-paced, customer-facing environments. You will be working across a variety of locations in Leicester and the wider area, preparing pizzas in a mobile setup while delivering an excellent food experience for our customers.

Responsibilities
* Prepare, stretch, and cook authentic Neapolitan pizzas to consistently high standards.
* Operate and maintain pizza ovens in a mobile event setting.
* Ensure efficiency and speed of service during high-volume events and festivals.
* Work as part of a team to set up and pack down equipment at various locations.
* Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe food preparation environment in line with food safety standards.
* Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, representing Pizza Buddies at events.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo (Pizza Chef), specialising in Neapolitan-style pizza.
* Strong dough-handling skills, including tray extraction and stretching.
* Ability to work confidently with high-temperature ovens under time pressure.
* Previous experience working in mobile catering, restaurants, or festival environments preferred.
* A genuine passion for pizza-making, with attention to detail and quality.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and at multiple Leicester-based event locations.
* Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* A full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
Pay: £12.21-£20.00 per hour
