This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Private Family Solicitor to be part of a highly respected, boutique family law practice.

Who we’re looking for
4. 4 PQE up to Partner level
5. Able to run your own private family caseload
6. Commercially minded with strong billing habits
7. Positive, proactive and open-minded
8. Enjoys flexibility and remote work
9. Strong communicator, confident with client conversations
10. Legal 500 experience (desired but not essential)
11. Full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week)
What you’ll be doing
12. Manage a caseload of private family law matters
13. Deliver commercially aware, client-centred advice
14. Build strong relationships and contribute to establishing the brand locally
15. Maintain accurate time recording and billing
16. Work within a national family team across Manchester, London and Leeds
17. Focus solely on fee earning — no BD, no advocacy
18. Participate in team video calls and receive remote support and mentoring
Salary & Benefits
19. £60,000–£90,000 depending on experience
20. 1 day per week in the Birmingham office (or once a fortnight/month depending on distance)
21. Option to work 4 days and get paid for 5
22. 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays (higher allowances possible depending on performance)
23. One-week Christmas shutdown
24. Hybrid/flexible working

26. No BD and no advocacy – fully supported by marketing and a sales director
