We are looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance & Installation Electrician to join our team, carrying out day-to-day electrical repairs, testing, and installation works across residential and communal properties.

This is a full-time role covering reactive maintenance as well as 1st and 2nd fix installation work.
You must be confident fault finding, testing, completing repairs, and producing clear after-care reports following each visit.
Key Responsibilities • Attend sites to diagnose, repair, and test electrical systems.
• Carry out 1st and 2nd fix installation work as required.
• Complete after-care reports with findings, actions taken, and recommendations.
• Perform electrical testing in accordance with current regulations.
• Manage a daily schedule of planned and reactive tasks.
• Communicate effectively with residents, property managers and office staff.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Examples of common issues include: • Extractor-fan faults and ongoing ventilation issues.
• Plug sockets in communal areas repeatedly tripping.
• Streetlights not working.
• Switches tripping circuits in lounges and kitchens.
• Fuses in cupboards tripping frequently.
• Communal/stairwell doors with non-working fob entry systems.
• General small electrical defects across apartments and common areas.
Requirements NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (essential) • Testing & Inspection qualification • Strong fault-finding skills and confidence with testing.
• Experience in both installations and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently with good communication skills.
