We are seeking a dedicated GP who is newly qualifiedwithin the last two yearsto enhance our supportive team.
Main duties of the job
Our clinical roles include, capped appointmentnumbers, 15-minute F2F appointments, low home visit rates, access to paramedicsvisiting,first contact physio & mental health practitioner.
We support our team with a daily clinical meet andhave low clinical staff turnover.
We are also part of a well-supported PCN(Tadcaster and Rural Selby PCN).
We have always been high QOF Achievers, participatein enhanced services, dispense to nearly half our population and have an onsitePharmacy.
We also have branch sites in Micklefield and Thorpe Willoughby.

Job responsibilities
The followingare the core responsibilities of the salaried GP. There may be on occasion, arequirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors suchas workload and staffing levels:
The delivery ofhighly effective medical care to the entitled population
The provisionof services commensurate with the GMS contract
Genericprescribing adhering to local and national guidance
Effectivemanagement of long-term conditions
Processing ofadministration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescriptionrequests and other associated administrative tasks
On a rotationalbasis, undertake duty doctor roles
Maintainaccurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy andguidance
Workingcollaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload
Adhere to bestpractice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process
Contribute to thesuccessful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiativeswithin the practice
Acceptdelegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOF
Attend andcontribute effectively to practice meetings as required
Contributeeffective to the development and maintenance of the practice including clinicalgovernance, training, financial management and HR
Ensurecompliance with the appraisal process
Prepare andcomplete the revalidation process
Commit toself-learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional development acrossthe practice team
Support thepartners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, makingrecommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure
Review andadhere to practice protocols and policies at all times
Encouragecollaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, promoting a cultureof continuous improvement at all times
Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of working in a primary care environment
* Experience of continued professional development
* Experience of QOF and clinical audit
* Newly Qualified GP -within last 2 years
* General understanding of the GMS contract
* Experience of medicines management
* Experience of ICB initiatives
